Compare two Saturn payouts CSV files

Install

go install github.com/filecoin-saturn/compare-payouts@latest

Run

Usage

$ compare-payouts -help
Usage of compare-payouts:
  -f1 string
        first payouts csv file
  -f2 string
        second payouts csv file
  -top1 int
        limit file 1 to N records with highest FIL
  -top2 int
        limit file 2 to N records with highest FIL

Deduct overpayments using previous month's top n payouts as overpayments

To calculate payout ajdustments for March, using the top 305 recipients as the overpaid amounts, use the following command:

compare-payouts -deduct -f1 Saturn-FVM-Payouts-2024-03.csv -f2 payouts/Saturn-FVM-Payouts-2024-02.csv -top2 305

This will create two new files, one for the adjusted payouts and one for any leftover overpayment that needs to be applied next month:

Wrote adjusted payouts to: Saturn-FVM-Payouts-2024-03-adjusted.csv
Wrote leftover overpayments to: Saturn-FVM-Payouts-2024-02-leftover.csv

If there are no leftover overpayments to deduct next month, then no "leftover" file is created.
