Previously I was using mangohud to enable vsync (vsync=3) for vkd3d in dx12 games via steam (simply using the launch option: manghud %command%), but ever since updating the nvidia driver from 535.183.01 to 550.107.02 this is no longer working. I set vsync in the games to OFF because mangohud overrides it, but now I have to turn vsync on in the game which isn't ideal because it's obviously not using the mangohud setting any more

mangohud definitely working - frame limiter settings and overlay etc. are working as normal

results are reproducible by switching only the driver version between the above 2 versions

curiously openGL vsync options work fine in both driver versions

same issue on both mangohud 0.7.1 and 0.7.2
mint 22 (6.8.0-41-generic)
3060 Ti

thanks

Seems like a bug or intentional change in the nvidia driver
Don't think we can do anything about it

FYI still a problem in 560.35.03 and 550.127.05

Had to go back to 535.183.01
