Source context is missing

Hi,

I'm trying to configure source context that used to work on my Qt project but probably stop working since I moved from QMake to CMake.

I currently upload successfully the debug symbol thank to the following code:

    COMMAND sentry-cli debug-files upload --include-sources ${PROJECT_NAME}.dSYM/Contents/Resources/DWARF/${PROJECT_NAME}
)

When I have a crash, I have the correct line number but not source context.

Any idea what I could miss ?

Thanks for checking ❤️. It was still worth a try, although the exceptions would have been an issue if you wanted app store approval.

Removing sandboxing fix the issue. Do you think crashpad could work in a sandbox environment ?

I don't think so. It seems clear that the IPC bootstrapping between the crashpad client and handler is illegal in a sandboxed environment. If you want to deploy to the app store, you'll have to fall back on breakpad on macOS.

I will update the docs.

Ok I will revert to breakpad. I switched to crashpad here thinking I would maybe able to solve my original error here: #881 (reply in thread)

Ok good news: I revert back to breakpad with a build exporting debug symbol properly and everything is working as expected! Thank you for your kind help!

Glad I could help even though it was kinda long-winded 😅

I am still surprised that the temporary exceptions did not help (at least for diagnostics) since the error you are getting seems to be the direct result of a failed/ignored bootstrap_look_up(). I currently don't have the time to investigate further, sorry.

No worries. As you mentionned, since this could be an issue with the Apple Store, I prefer to stay with breakpad.
