Preventing some words to be translated

Hello, I watched your inspiring videos on Youtube. I wanted to ask a question to you, I checked most of the sites,discussions but couldnot find a satifying answer. Are there any way to prevent some words (i.e. special names) to be translated. I tried different methods and eventually I ended up by using placeholders with different regex patterns but still not satisfied. Thank u in advance.
