Searching the history freezes Copyq on debian linux (on Gnome Wayland)

Describe the bug
Open the main window and start searching for a word like "an error". After while a dialog window opens if I want to wait or quit. I tried multiple retries of waiting before forcing a quit.

To Reproduce
Just open the search line above the last copy&paste and enter the search string

Expected behavior
To have the results matching the search string shown
