with the merge of #209 we finally have channel normalization! However, if one has a multi-channel image and switches channels quickly, normalization might fail

How to reproduce:

  • Open any workflow
  • Load some multi-channel image with that has different data-ranges in the channels.
  • Switch channels really quickly: sometimes it will not normalize then.
