Why

In order to have multiple aggregator running on a Mithril network, we want to explore the available solutions to implement the signer registration which:

  • must allow the liveness of the protocol (at least one certificate must be produced at each epoch)
  • can be centralized, decentralized or in between
  • can have a cost for SPOs or not
  • can allow the protocol to be fully or partially censorship resistant

The evaluation of the possible implementations associated with their difficulty and expected duration of implementation, security guarantees, difficulty to operate by the SPOs, and eventual impact on the Cardano chain will help us determine clear roadmap and path to move forward to a more decentralized Mithril network able to run with multiple aggregators.

What

Create a document which details the range of solutions, their target architectures and pros/cons analysis.

How

  • Create a document which details the range of solutions, their target architectures and pros/cons analysis
  • TBD
