Today I got an email from AWS about their new Certificate Manager service. This would make it easier for AWS deployments like brainard-archiva to use https instead of http.

We might not need https. So this is just a memo we can keep around and daydream about or forget about.

I was on a project a couple years ago that set up https for an AWS instance. It was a real pain! So it's good that AWS is making this easier now.
