You can definitely write a promQL query on top of the metrics provided by
the exporter to calculate your apdex.
Keep in mind that apdex thresholds (satisfied, tolerating, frustrated) are
not standard.You have to create your own query with your own values.

Does that answer your question? I don't believe this plugin could generate it as a metric just given it's variability in how folks would want it defined. Or do you mean for the example grafana dashboard in this project to have an example apdex score? I'd say your best bet is to generate a histogram and then create an apdex score out of it (and possible saving it in Prometheus as a recorded rule) as chiabre indicates. Here's the prometheus documentation on how generate an apdex score from histograms. I don't see why we couldn't add one to the grafana example. |
