Contribution Guidelines for Cellist

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Cellist! We believe in the power of collective knowledge and appreciate your efforts. Here's how you can contribute:

Issue

Begin by opening an issue in our repository. Whether you've found a bug, have a suggestion for improvement, or have a feature request, starting with an issue helps us avoid duplication of effort and track all suggestions in one place.

Pull Request

Once the issue has been discussed, you can start working on a pull request. Here's how:

  1. Fork the repository.
  2. Create a new branch.
  3. Make your changes and commit them to your branch.
  4. Push the changes to your fork.
  5. Open a pull request against our repository.

Please follow our pull request template when opening a new pull request.

Documentation

Accurate and clear documentation is crucial to the success of Cellist. If you spot an area where our documentation can be improved or clarified, don't hesitate to suggest changes.

Testing

Before submitting a pull request, please ensure your changes pass all tests. If your changes require new tests, please include those in your pull request.

By contributing to Cellist, you agree to abide by our code of conduct. We are committed to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We look forward to your contributions!
