[REQUEST] Option to disable all keybinds #299
Comments
Can you describe your use case? If all of the keybinds are removed, is the app still usable? |
I personally leave the preferences file (preferences.json) as read-only and with the settings ready. This way, I just need to open and close the application using a shortcut on my desktop and the crosshair is already locked and ready to use; and then I just need to close it to remove the crosshair. Even without any keybind, the application remains 100% usable (after configuring it, of course). This option to disable all keybinds would be disabled by default, so it would not affect most users. Here's my preferences.json file for reference: https://0.jaegers.net/?718e2f3d8736d80c#7GXv6scx7VobZL1TRKAAuQqkphGeXjaPAQoYJ5a5GKZf |
Makes sense, this should be relatively easy to add. |
I have to leave the lock/unlock keybinds, otherwise basic users may never be able to unlock the app. I have rewritten everything and this feature is available in the upcoming v4 |
Maybe add an option to also remove such keybinds and that option is only available directly by editing the settings file? (Then basic users would not be affected, as it would not be an option available through the user interface.) And thank you very much! |
Done. I'm almost ready to give v4 to folks to test, comment here to be

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I wish there was an option to remove all keybinds from the program. Since the last update, many keybinds have been removed, but we still have "Ctrl+Comma" for preferences.
Describe the solution you'd like
