What happened?

System fails to restore proper transparency on resume from suspend, requiring that Cinnamon be restarted each time. Panels often present with a flat gray background and/or corruption / artifacts. Unknown whether this an extension bug, a graphics driver bug, Cinnamon bug or some strange interaction between the three.

Other information

I have no other graphical issues on my machine including games via Wine, etc.

LM22 - Cinnamon 6.2.7
Nvidia 1660Ti - 535.183.01

No artifacts but the bar is no longer transparent after suspend.
ALT+F2 -> r fixes the error

Most commonly I experience just a loss of transparency, but occasionally will lose transparency and experience garbled text, invisible text or other graphical artifacting in all of the Cinnamon panels after wake. Testing to see if the artifacting is more common after the system has been in suspend for a long time and has subsequently dropped into hibernation mode.
