FEATURES_DISABLE_PUBLIC_GROUPS=1 has not effect #89
Comments
Hi, that will disable the "public groups" link in the sidebar, but not disable the route itself. The idea being that if we don't link to it, people won't find it. We could disable the route too if you need. |
Hey. Thanks for the quick response. If there are no public groups in an loomio instance i guess it would make sense to disable the endpoint. For our instance i would like to not have any endpoints that are not behind a login. So i would appreciate if you disable it in future releases. Is there a list of public endpoints somewhere? thanks! |
@robguthrie Do you need any further input or will we just leave the ticket open until its disabled in a future release? |
This would be a great contribution from someone.

Hey,
while trying to make as much of our loomio installation "login only" accessible i set the FEATURES_DISABLE_PUBLIC_GROUPS=1 variable in the env file and run docker-compose up/down. For some reasons the /explore endpoint is still reachable. Any advised what i may have missed here would be appreciate.
