Follow on from #354 : Arabic Text Marker not rendering correctly in Word.

There is clearly a font issue at work for Word:

This is what happens when I use nothing, Arabic Text Marker, and Right To Left Text Marker in Word:

Times New Roman:

@Intelligent2013 reported quad chars appearing instead of Arabic Text Markers. I cannot replicate that behaviour, despite trying a lot of fonts. In any case, if it does resurface, it will be resolved by using a font that includes ATM natively—the quad character points to a font not including the given character.
