The bug MC-# has been closed as "Works As Intended" by a moderator, although it might not be intended behavior and should maybe be reviewed by a developer instead of a moderator. https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-#
Moderator: I took another look at it, and must disagree. This was always intended behavior.
Poster: But the recent updates could potentially make this intended, because this and that changed. It fits is again.
