people will change their project name over time - this is fine! But if they register as MyAwesomeProjectDotCom at the start, and graduate as AwesomeProj, it's hard to guess who it is sometimes and make sure our internal knowledge management is consistent.

What can we do to make this easier for us?

I can share something that didn't work for Nebula: adding a field for project name in the Civi registration form. It wasn't a required field because experts and facilitators used the same form, so some people left it blank. Team members entered different project names even when we insisted that they coordinate to enter the same one.

Is the main challenge here keeping updated project metadata (project title, link to recording, team, etc) or is it tracking who graduated? This might be a similar discussion to #814
