This was added in Opencga 1.4 and we want to use AWS DocumentDB as the mongo backend for a migration of the database, which requires ssl.

I can see the changes in these two PRs:

These are small changes, but because of the dependency on the java-common-libs, its tricky for us to make the changes. Can this be added to the next release of 1.3? Opencga should really be using secure database connections anyway?
