the current approach (default actionbar) is deprecated and it is recommended to implement your own toolbar

here is why this is important:

Above crash only happens on phones that installed the app from sources other than Google Play. Most likely this is related to APK sharing or similar. It would still be nice to migrate to Toolbar though as it offers more flexibility in the future!
