Description

When previewing certificates for honor and verified courses, the organization logo and signatory information don't display unless signature images are uploaded, even though signature images are optional and should only apply to verified certificates: https://edx.readthedocs.io/projects/open-edx-building-and-running-a-course/en/named-release-cypress/building_course/creating_course_certificates.html#create-a-certificate-configuration

Steps to Reproduce

  • Create a course with honor or verified mode for a course.
  • Ensure that no signature images are uploaded in the certificate signature configuration.
  • Preview the certificate for either honor or verified mode.

Expected Behavior

The organization logo and signatory information should be displayed correctly regardless of whether optional signature images are provided. Signature images should only be necessary for verified certificates.

What's preventing the rendering of the org/signatory info?
