I expect that OEP-64 will be accepted and the project will adopt a new set of modernized mobile applications. Assuming that happens, we would like to have a strong capability for branding those applications. I would like that strategy to align with the projects overall strategy for branding and styling.
There are two specific use cases:
A simple branding capability that allows small organizations to use a shared, generic, installation of the Open edX mobile application and apply light branding at runtime.
Potentially a more robust branding capability for organizations that build their own binary distribution of the mobile application.
I'm opening this issue after a Slack conversation with @adamstankiewicz so we can get the right people together to discuss. On the mobile side that would be @marcotuts and @volodymyr-chekyrta
