This is a feature request of two similar features

If I scale something, while pressing space I should have no fixed ration (height to length), so I can distort things.

If I create a polygon, pressing space should fix the ratio to 1:1.

That could be done for scaling. I'd be weary about polygon: the ratio is usually enforced by holding some special key (ctrl/shift) and I'd like to stick to what people expect as much as possible.
