Sponsorships do not work. Like at all. There is close to zero payments, even many people using and appreciate and spread world about your open source tools.
We need to improve monetisation.
People literally asking now for stars in GitHub as if it was having some monetary value.
It is very hard to get stars. Stars are badge of honour in open source community.
How about if we pay say 10$ fee and these money distributed to people you send star too?
Call it Super-Star? see what I did here?
