The edges are redundant due to the structure of the graph. They should be less dominant in the overall view of the graph, while still keeping the character of the intuitive flow of the program.

Some options to consider:

  1. removing the edges
  2. blur the edges
  3. change the color to match the node border
  4. make edges dotted or dashed lines
