Rephrasing necessary in the Instrumental Resolution section?

Currently, the opening to the Instrumental Resolution section is the following:
"In the analysis process, a resolution function associated with the instrumentation the refectometry measurement was performed on it typically introduced to the model. This ensures greater accuracy in the modelled reectometry to the experiment."

Slightly later in the same section is the following:
"The Gaussian function is centred on a given wavevector, q, and has a width of at half maximum of dq."

I am not sure how to correct these but I believe they require attention.
