using Bootstrap 5.1.1 compilation is extremely slow, why can it be?

This extension is no longer maintained - see #486, this will show you that I have a fork that I'm actively maintaining. This does have some significant speed improvements.

After reading it, please close this issue so my own can stay top of the list. Thanks

I just tested and @glenn2223 is not lying, it's really significantly faster even when using latest stable Bootstrap - 5.1.3 .
Also gives deprecation notices, which is a new thing - so you can be prepared better for future versions in time.

Glenn did you try to contact the origial repo owner?
I sent him an email with a proposal to update this repo README to link to project maintained by you, we shall see.
