APC UI breaks synthwave

Hey hey! I've tried everything I can, but the js token replacements are not getting applied with apc extension installed (or even if you uninstall it, you have to uninstall vscode to get synthwave glow to work). Ive tried using the JS files, the css files, using apc import and custom css and js.

Id love to stick with neon dreams, but i also am finding apc to be almost necessary at this point. What would I have to do to get the glow working??
