The problem: When I create a new node, it puts the cursor after the default text "New Node." It would be more useful to have the default focus highlight the default text so that when you start typing a node name it replaces the default text instead of placing it after "New Node." Link labels behave the same way.

hmmm, reading the release notes, this may be intentional? Release notes say entering node unhighlighted is better for editing, but IMHO New nodes are better entered highlighted since you always want to type over the "New Node" and "Label" placeholders. I have worked in VUE for many years and still cannot get used to this weird new node/link behavior.
