It seems since adding this I'm getting this invalid URI error and the package doesn't download from the self-hosted repo with high priority .
Any idea what might be going on?

This doesn't seem to happen when installing packages, only upgrading. Strange.

We haven't seen that in our packages, which are all hosted on Google App Engine. If you find out anything more about it, please let us know and/or send a PR. Thanks!
