My friend can’t play gmod

My friend tried everything. He used the patch tool and still can’t get in. He’s using M4 macOS 26.5. Another friend with the exact same specs is able to run it fine

Did they run the tool? Is the tool up to date? Did the tool say it applied successfully in green text? Did they read the FAQ?

I told my friend to read the faq. He tried putting the windowless and no addon command and still got the error message. This is the error message: AppFramework : Unable to load module /Users/juliusbLibrary/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/GarrysMod/GarrysMod_Signed.app/Contents/MacOS/filesystem_stdio.dylib!

And yes the patcher did say it applied successfully

The new patcher update still left my friend unable to play. I’m not really sure if it’s the patcher itself or gmod.
