Hey, I just purchased a new Kiyo Pro and am attempting to use this software to control the device.

The AF and FoV controls seem to work correctly, but I can't see any change when enablong/disabling HDR mode.

For reference I'm running Fedora36 and am watching the video output via Cheese.

I can provide more info if you like, just let me know what you want to know.

Hey,
The HDR is useful when recording in direct sunlight or when there are very bright spots in the image.
There was a similar issue with cameractrls:

Might be worth putting that information in the README as it seems to come up more often. I, myself, was wondering about this.

The dark and bright HDR modes does not seem to work for me. I look super washed out on Linux whereas I look great on camera on my Mac.

Does anyone know where all the magic values in the constants came from? @soyersoyer how did you find them? I wonder if maybe there are more mode options this camera supports that are not exposed which might work better (like being able to manual adjust color temperature/white-balance/brightness).

From wireshark usb dumps, while running the windows software. Do you use it under the same lighting conditions?
Try cameractrls, the other controls are there and these are integrated as well.

I compared in exact same conditions. I will try your other project, thank you for the tip.
