My name is Daniel Stankewitz (also known as Vouk) and I am the main developer of the popular Voukoder plugin (voukoder.org). With so called "connectors" it can be added as a plugin to many host applications (i.e. Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Aftereffects and Magix Vegas Pro).
Before the Voukoder I had to use a combination of a frame server and a set of various tools to get a high quality video export out of Adobe Premiere. That was rather slow and did not support native batch exporting with Media Encoder.
Instead of just complaining I wanted to make it better! I am working as Senior Software Engineer for quite some time now and in 2017 I gave it a try. Now in november 2021 there are more than 200,000 downloads and more than 43,000 users per month! Amazing!
With Voukoder you can use the best available video and audio encoders. You can use GPU acceleration for both NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards. It is possible to run multiple exports with Media Encoder. You can export in 4:2:0, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4! You want 8 bit, 10 bit or even 12 bit? No problem!
