Our auto check in springyleap worked great for us 3 days ago. One was five better than the other for the first flight, and two better on the second. Does it submit all check in requests simultaneously for a given flight, or based on the time they were registered through springyleap? Just curious. Both boarding positions were fine and it's great to have an automatic check in option. Thanks so much!

The system buckets tickets by email, regardless of fullname, so when it is time to checkin the tickets get submitted sequentially within the same badge. Depending on how busy is the flight, the volume of checkin requests (human and automatic) from other parties will affect how close together are the boarding psitions among the tickets registered in the system. I will eventually enable a parallel processor to send multiple requests concurrently and minimize the chances for other parties to checkin between requests. I hope this answers your questions and please keep the feedback coming.

Ok, thanks. So, for now, would it maximize the chance of sequential boarding positions to have each passenger's ticket coming from its own bucket (ie. unique email)? If so, I could reregister our upcoming flights with my daughter's own email rather than doing them all under mine. But I did use my email on the southwest site for all of them when purchasing. Does the email used to register the ticket on your site need to match the one associated with the ticket on southwest?

@josecomboni Does this service currently work? On http://springyleap.com/Reservations/Register I get stuck on the modal that says "We're scheduling your reservation for automatic checkin.
This may take a few moments." and it just stays like that even after several minutes.

@joechristopher, the system does work, unfortunately you were hitting a bug in the UI (it happens in certain browsers) were the dialog doesn't update itself. Once you get to that dialog though, your flight should be registered. You can confirm by going to http://springyleap.com/Reservations/?email={youremail}&lastname={yourreservation's lastname} or refreshing the page and clicking the link at the bottom (Go to My Flight Reminders)
The systems uses Southwest's emailing system, hence once your flight has been checked in, you will receive the standard email from Southwest with your ticket number.

@josecomboni Thank you for the response. Confirmed that I see the reservation despite the UI bug.

It's awesome. May you fly under the radar forever.

Can anyone comment with anecdotes on how well this works for them... like what boarding #'s did you get, especially if there are multiple people in your party?

Really appreciate the effort put into this by all devs. If there's a tip jar somewhere let me know.

Anyone else getting this when running the python script?
