How to build my profile

The profile is built automatically from auto-captured memories over time. If you see "No profile found", it means the memory store has not yet accumulated enough session data to extract a user profile.\n\nA few things to check:\n1. Is auto-capture enabled in your opencode-mem config?\n2. Are you using a model provider that supports structured output?\n3. What version of opencode-mem are you running?\n\nIf you can share your config (redact API keys) and version, I can help diagnose whether this is expected behavior or a configuration issue.

To build a user profile, opencode-mem needs:\n\n1. Auto-capture enabled — the plugin must be running and capturing your conversations. Check that autoCaptureProviderStatus.ready is true in your config.\n2. At least 10 uncaptured prompts — the profile analysis runs after you've sent 10+ messages (configurable via userProfileAnalysisInterval, default is 10).\n3. A working LLM provider — either an OpenCode-native provider (opencodeProvider + opencodeModel) or a manual fallback (memoryModel + memoryApiUrl).\n\nIf you've been chatting for a while and still see this message, check:\n- Is auto-capture actually firing? Look for Auto-capture entries in the logs.\n- Is your LLM provider configured and reachable? If the provider fails, the profile won't be built (this error path was improved in #267, so you'll now see the actual provider error instead of a generic message).\n\nCould you share your opencode-mem config (redact API keys) and the plugin version? That will help determine if this is expected behavior or a configuration issue.
