I'm currently in the progress of developing my own AWSIM world for a school project. As this is proof-of-concept only the world details are quite low, there is a main building, some trees and some bollards/posts. The problem I'm running into is that when the ego-vehicle spawns in its rotation is off (x and z coordinates seem close enough). I've added some extra bollards close to the spawn location to help the localization but this doesn't solve the problem.
I'm using a PCD captured with the RGL-plugin with the same settings as the tutorial except for:
Capture Location Interval is at 1 instead of 6.
Is there a way to improve the spawn orientation of the ego-vehicle upon spawning?
