Magento 2 Canonical Url is a Magento 2 extension that extends the default Magento 2 canonical with a bunch of extra features to avoid duplicate content.
With Magento 2 Canonical Url, you add a canonical meta tag to several pages of the store to tells the search engine which URL is the “correct” version and avoids duplicate.
- Add canonical link tag at the product, category, CMS, cart pages, and any other pages
- Set a custom canonical link tag per single/individual product, category, CMS page
- Use longest or shortest categories path for product canonical link tag
- Add canonical link tag per product attribute, for pages filtered by layered navigation
- Add canonical link tag for category pager and layered navigation
- Exclude canonical link tag per product, category, CMS pages, or any other page
- Add/Crop trailing slash to any canonical link tag
