DropdownMenu disappears on orientation change #1093

Problem: when I perform this sequence of events the DropdownMenu disappears:

Touch the second bottom bar tab
Touch the 3-dot icon at the top right
Rotate the device twice

Possible solution:

Do not change UI tree structure based on screen width, just use ListDetailPaneScaffold or similar instead
