👋 About

I'm Alireza Pourgholam — a web designer and developer based on Kish Island, Iran.

I've been building for the web for about 6 years. I started out with WordPress — themes, plugins, and client sites — which is where I learned how real projects actually get shipped. Over time I moved further up the stack into the frontend, and for the last few years React and Next.js have been where I do my best work.

These days most of my time goes into open source — building tools in the open, shipping them, and maintaining them. I care about interfaces that feel fast, code that stays readable six months later, and products that solve an actual problem rather than demo well.
