Frontend Enthusiast
Growing up with a father who is a software engineer, I was introduced to programming at an early age. Visual Basic 6 was my first language. I later taught myself JavaScript and have since developed a deep interest in frontend Web development. -
Esolangs
Beyond solving real-world problems with code, I’m fascinated by esolangs. Pushing the boundaries of programming into unexpected directions keeps me hooked. -
ACG
Introduced to My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic by a middle school friend, I have since been somewhat interested in ACG. My avatar actually features my ponysona Innocent Souls (but mimicking the "figure with hat" avatar which was popular in the Chinese rhythm games community). -
Music & Rhythm Games
I’ve studied a bit of instrumental music and vocals, and I have an OK sense of rhythm. My rhythm game journey spans from Dancing Line to Malody, osu!, Phigros, A Dance of Fire and Ice, and Project Sekai. -
Conlangs, Shidinn
Who wouldn’t want to write a diary in a language no one else can read? That curiosity led me to discover Lojban and Toki Pona. Through a friend’s recommendation, I got into Shidinn — a folk linguist's attempt to reimagine Chinese in an alphabetic script, and I’m now an active member of its online community.
“DGCK” is an acronym originating from a small group of childhood friends I formed in elementary school. We spent many happy times together building in Minecraft. The name traces back to an inside joke: in Chinese, “Minecraft” is sometimes colloquially called "麦块" (mài kuài), a play on 麦 (wheat) + 块 (block). Since hay bales are crafted from wheat in the game, we jokingly coined “大干草块” (dà gāncǎo kuài, lit. “big hay bale”) as our nickname for the game itself — which eventually became our group’s name. The acronym stuck after the original Chinese characters triggered chat filters (specifically 草 as it’s a common homophonic substitute for profanity).
"81" is my hexadecimal code, and "LNN" is my letter code. I used to assign these kinds of codes to friends in my social circle. LNN is what I go by — spare the full string.
