SignEditor is a Minecraft Plugin created to allow server administrator/operators to easily edit signs placed on the server without the need to break the signs.
I decided to create this plugin due to other plugins not having a Sign GUI and therefore would possibly cut off text. Using this plugin will allow you to know if a message will fit or not.
- Uses color codes (&)
- Supports text formatting (&k, &o, etc)
- Uses a Sign GUI to allow you to test if a message will actually fit on the sign.
It allows you to easily change the text on a sign without worry of words getting cut off.
- Add customizable messages.
If you encounter any bugs while using the plugin, please join the Discord server (https://discord.gg/sZCNqgTUj3) and make a ticket in the appropriate channel.
The plugin is open-source, which means anyone can download the code, make changes, and submit edits. If you'd like to contribute to the project, you can do so by following these steps:
- Create a GitHub account if you don't have one already.
- Fork the plugin's repository to your GitHub account.
- Clone the repository to your local machine and make your desired changes to the code.
- Commit and push your changes to your forked repository.
- Create a pull request from your forked repository to the original plugin's repository, describing the changes you've made and why they're beneficial.
People who make major changes to the plugin may be listed as an author of the plugin.
