Blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline-modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing, motion tracking and video editing.
The physarum editor allows you to play with the physarum simulation. This work is inspired from the following articles:
- Characteristics of pattern formation and evolution in approximations of physarum transport networks, Jeff Jones
- Physarum, Sage Jenson
These implementations helped us to develop this tool:
- Physarum 2D (Javascript with Three.js) by Nicolas Barradeau
- Physarum 3D (C++ with HLSL) by Jan Ivanecky
