I grew up behind the counter of our family clothing business in Narayangarh, which has been trading since 1991. I keep its accounts, and when my father travels the whole workload lands on me.
Working inside those books is where the software came from. I could not find tools that fit how businesses like ours actually work — thinking in Miti dates, VAT and post-dated cheques — so I started building them.
I studied accounting first: BBS, Tribhuvan University, passed October 2025.

Fast-XML was a web-based TallyPrime integration over ODBC, and the technical predecessor to SAHARA CORE. Reliable handling for connection failures was never finished, and it stayed dependent on TallyPrime running correctly, so rather than release it I moved the accounting work into SAHARA CORE. It is listed here as history, not as a current product.

- Software should fit how operators actually work. If an experienced accountant gets slower, the redesign failed.
- An ERP is the business's accounting truth, not a wall of dashboards. Every stock movement has to reach the books.
- A green test is not proof. I once had a suite pass while debit and credit were reversed underneath it.
- AI tools are workers I supervise, not magicians I trust.
- "Built in Nepal" should not mean small or cheap.
