release/1.8.0: Update derecho site config #1315

Summary

Update Derecho site config for release/1.8.0:

  • use only three build jobs to avoid getting booted off the system by the arbiter
  • use gcc@11.2.0 as backend for Intel to fix build errors for met and py-scipy
  • pin py-scipy to 1.11.4
  • ecflow/qt changes as discussed earlier

Testing

Built unified environment with intel@2021.10.4 (using gcc@11.2.0 as backend) and with gcc@12.2.0

Great Dom, looks OK to me.
I saw you finished intel: ue-intel-2021.10.0/install/modulefiles/Core
For GNU, we need to rename environment from ue-gcc-12.2.0 to ue-gcc-11.2.0 and setup meta-modules. Do you want me to do it?

Great Dom, looks OK to me. I saw you finished intel: ue-intel-2021.10.0/install/modulefiles/Core For GNU, we need to rename environment from ue-gcc-12.2.0 to ue-gcc-11.2.0 and setup meta-modules. Do you want me to do it?

GNU build is still going, and it is gcc-12.2.0 - the 11.2.0 version is only needed as backend for Intel; standalone we can use 12.2.0. I am taking care of the GNU build, so no worries. Almost finished.
