About The Project

With this project, I tried to create an easy-to-use tool that you can use to generate AskReddit Text2Speech Videos.

To make it all work the Project uses:

• Python
• FFmpeg
• IBM Watson Text to Speech
• Unsplash

Getting Started

To set up the Project locally you will need

• Python 3.8.0
• FFmpeg 4.2.2
• A Reddit Account
• A Unsplash Account

Installation

1. Clone the repo.

git clone https://github.com/LouisKlimek/Reddit2Video

3. Install FFmpeg.

4. Get your Reddit API Key.

https://www.reddit.com/wiki/api

5. Enter your API Key, Password etc. in "reddit.py".

6. Enter your "videoLengthInMin" in "reddit.py".

7. Enter your Unsplash API Key in "thumbnail.py" by replacing "CLIENTID".

8. Now you can let "reddit.py" run and it will automatically create Videos.
