What

Moves the documentation/ knowledge base out of the repo and into the wiki.

New location: https://github.com/michalpelka/HDMapping/wiki

Every documentation/<Section>/README.md was imported as a wiki page
(Applications, Hardware, Build-and-Installation, Tools, Videos,
Knowledge-Base, Compatible-Community-Projects, Benchmarks + 14
Benchmarks-* sub-pages), with a _Sidebar and Home index. Images and the
two nested .bib files came along.

Changes here

  • README.md "Documentation" section now links to the wiki pages instead of
    in-repo paths.
  • documentation/ removed (24 MB, mostly the Applications GIFs, now in the wiki).
  • documentation/Benchmarks/LANE_DETECTION/bib/S0925231226002614.bib and
    documentation/Benchmarks/LIDAR_POINT_REPRESENTATIONS/bib/lemke2026vernata.bib
moved to top-level bib/ so their raw-GitHub links keep resolving.

Notes for reviewers

  • Wiki content was generated from main (497ecec); conversion also rewrote
    [[text]](url)[text](url) because [[ ]] is wiki-link syntax.
  • The wiki currently lives on the fork. Once MapsHD's own wiki is
initialised, the same tree can be pushed there and the README links
    switched to MapsHD/HDMapping/wiki.
  • No build files, workflows or code reference documentation/.

The documentation/ tree (applications, hardware, build guide, tools,
videos, publications and the LiDAR/LIO benchmark suite) has been imported
into the wiki at https://github.com/michalpelka/HDMapping/wiki and is
removed here to avoid a second copy drifting out of sync.

- README "Documentation" section now links to the wiki pages.
- The two .bib files that lived under documentation/Benchmarks/*/bib/ are
moved to the top-level bib/ so their raw-GitHub links keep resolving.
