What are the steps necessary to get this PR merged? It would be great to have the latest Node.js version available in the package repo. |

I'm also interested in this, Node.js 4 is no longer supported and many packages are dropping support for it. It would probably be good to go to 10.x btw, since that is the current LTS version now... (ping @greenbreakfast) |

We should probably look at these changesets as well, seems like they have some things not present here: openwrt/packages@cff6ebb, openwrt/packages@818770d |

bumping to latest stable node version. replacing duplicate version specification with variable.
Happy to do any testing that needs to be done here. Just let me know the steps.
Also happy to put those into a CONTRIBUTORS.md file after we've outlined them.
