Hi, I’m Pedram! 👋

I am a PhD Candidate in the SAINTS Lab at the University of Copenhagen’s Department of Computer Science. My research focuses on deep-learning optimization through algorithmic information theory, optimization geometry, and quantization.

I previously led the development of CarbonTracker, recognized by the European Commission’s Innovation Radar. I have also taught courses in programming, problem solving, and software development.

Before academia, I worked as a software engineer at Danske Bank, developing C#/.NET mortgage-refinancing services. Outside the lab, I discuss AI infrastructure, energy use, and sustainable AI with industry and the media.
