Bardia and Sammy are working on integrating all the changes to the GI Report discussed during the March 2016 Hackathon. These include:

  1. Small window with map of design scenario.
  2. Add description to the performance summary and the units themselves (e.g., separate page with more description/information, hovering info bubble, etc.)
  3. Modify units to be consistent - results table and graphs
  4. Grammar check & use of terms familiar to end-users
  5. Discuss the possibility to include Human Preference
  6. Add separate page for the qualitative benefits (e.g., property value increase, education benefits, maintenance and operational concerns, etc.) - It will most likely be a list of co-benefits and disservices with hovering options. When clicked, a brief description, pictures and references will appear a side panel. Users will be able to select the benefits that they would like to have printed in a report.
  7. Add energy savings and peak flow reduction (issue Discuss on which peak flow to show in report for IUHM (duration and frequency) #70 ) to the spyder plot axis (only for Green Roofs - for all other GI this will be N/A) - Needs a discussion about uncertainty bounds for peak flow reductions for different return period storms (this is mainly concerning the box plots).
  8. Modify the units of the spyder plot to compare results from different scenarios (issue Create Datawolf workflow to compare results of different scenario runs to each other #65 ) - Needs discussion about whether this should be a separate page? (Bardia and Sammy are in favor of a separate page)
  9. Make some of the categories in the report clickable and expand as needed.

  • Sammy and I decided to add spider plots and bar charts to compare scenarios to each other.
  • We will still have spider plots and bar charts in the first page to show the results for one selected scenario.

During the last discussion of the above mockup there was some feedback regarding the color-scheme I used. Here is a link with a color-scheme generator: https://coolors.co/browser. Please send/add your recommendation.

The muck-up v.1 has been completely coded. I am planning on merging the code with Indira's ginotebook code next week, and integrate the latest data/values from Bardia. Here are two screenshots of the current progress:
