Welcome to the Fossils and Stones webshop project!
This is a web application that allows users to browse, purchase, and learn about unique stones from all over the world.

Features

• Browse our selection of stones by type, name or price
  
• Read about the properties and symbolism of each stone
  
• Easily add items to your cart and checkout securely
  
• Sign up to keep track of all the orders you placed, check the invoices and have forms auto filled out for you.
  

Technologies

This project was built using the following technologies:

• HTML/CSS/JavaScript for the front-end
  
• PHP/Ajax/Jquery for the back-end
  

Installation

To run this project locally on your machine, follow these steps:

1. Clone this repository to your local machine: git clone https://github.com/SohaibKhelanji/fossils-and-stones.git
   
2. Install XAMPP or MAMPP (depending on your machine)
   
3. Unpack the repository
   
4. Place the unpacked repository in your dedicated projects folder for XAMPP or MAMPP
   
5. Run Apache and Mysql
   
6. Go to your browser and search: localhost/[Path to your dedicated projects folder]/[given name of the repository]
