Replace the package-level notifier calls with a Notifier interface selected at
startup via -notifier / WHENCE_NOTIFIER ("dbus" desktop, "log" headless). The
dbus and log backends live in internal/notifier; handleEvent takes the chosen
notifier so the log backend can drive headless/e2e runs.
