1.0.3
- Installation of
jwst
pipeline from the GitHub rather than from pip, to benefit from the latest additions. - Example notebooks now include the new
pixel_replace
step in Spec3. This leads to much cleaner spectra. - Minor bug fix in case of setting psff=True (which should currently not be used though for the vast majority of cases)
- Updated README with instructions for alternative local installation - which also provides the documentation and example notebooks.
1.0.2
- Addition of a condition ore robust continuum subtraction (in
cs.py
); - Possibility to remove a residual background level to the final s3d cube (in
bkg.py
); - automatic estimate of the max. DN count in each band, which is related to the BFE effect, and writing of the results in a csv table (new cell in the notebook);
Note: In terms of final spectrum, there shouldn’t be any significant change compared to MINDS notebook v1.0.0 or v1.0.1. Any difference would rather stem from using the latest jwst pipeline version or CRDS files (which you should) rather than from the MINDS notebook itself.
1.0.1
- New option for interactive plots, compatible with latest jupyter notebook version
- DOI now available (through release on Zenodo)
